Fire service trailers – for the State Fire Service and Voluntary Fire Service

Fire service trailers for emergency services

Fire service trailers for emergency services

Fire service trailers are a practical addition to the equipment of the State Fire Service and Volunteer Fire Brigades. They enable the safe and organised transport of hoses, motorised pumps, generators, rescue equipment, lighting, tools and other equipment used during fire-fighting operations and in the aftermath of natural disasters.

A properly designed fire service trailer allows additional equipment to be transported without taking up space in the fire engine. The equipment can be arranged in such a way that firefighters have quick access to it upon arrival at the scene.

Fire service trailers tailored to the needs of the State Fire Service and the Voluntary Fire Service

Each unit uses different equipment and operates under different conditions. Therefore, fire service trailers can be designed to take into account the type of equipment being transported, its weight, dimensions and intended use.

A fire service trailer can be constructed, amongst other options, as a closed container-style body or a tarpaulin-covered trailer. Depending on its intended use, it is possible to fit shelves, racking, brackets, transport fastenings, side doors, a tailgate, electrical wiring, and internal and external lighting.

The enclosed design helps to protect the equipment being transported from rain, snow, dust and dirt, whilst appropriately selected securing measures minimise the risk of the equipment shifting whilst the vehicle is in motion.

Hose trailer for transporting fire hoses

The hose trailer is designed to transport a large number of fire hoses used during fire-fighting operations, flood relief efforts and for supplying water over long distances. The appropriate layout of the compartments and holders facilitates the organisation of the equipment, its deployment and subsequent preparation for reuse.

The hose trailer can be adapted to the number, diameter and length of the hoses being transported. The design can also incorporate space for water fittings, manifolds, nozzles, couplings and other components required during rescue and fire-fighting operations.

Fire service trailer for transporting specialist equipment

Trailers for the State Fire Service (PSP) and Voluntary Fire Service (OSP) can be used not only to transport hoses, but also as mobile technical support units. Depending on the configuration, the trailer can be used to transport:

motorised pumps and slurry pumps,

generators,

flood-control equipment,

  • tents and logistical equipment,

  • technical rescue equipment,

  • operational lighting,

  • tools and protective equipment.

A well-designed fire service trailer helps to keep equipment organised and reduces the time needed to prepare it for use.

Our projects

All fire service trailers can be built on the basis of a container or a tarpaulin-covered goods trailer. The first option ensures 100% waterproofing, dustproofing and resistance to temperature fluctuations, which is very important when transporting expensive equipment inside the trailer. The second solution – the tarpaulin-covered trailer – is a cheaper and more versatile option. Such a trailer can be used for various purposes, and its fittings can be adapted to the current needs of a particular unit. We can fit every trailer with an internal frame tailored to the equipment being transported.
