Beekeeping trailers are used to transport beehives to various locations. With a trailer specially adapted for beekeepers, you can transport your apiary to any location, even if you only have a passenger car and a Category B driving licence. We can select the appropriate size and load capacity of the trailer to suit the dimensions and number of hives. The trailer can have one or two axles, as well as special platforms on which to place the hives. The platforms have adjustable legs, making it easier to level the entire rig on uneven ground.
The design of our beekeeping trailers is based on special sections which are perforated and embossed, resulting in a stiffer and more durable structure whilst reducing the overall weight of the trailer. The entire structure is galvanised and coated with an additional layer of Cyn-Clar, which protects the frame from adverse weather conditions and ensures a glossy finish for up to 5 years.
Extension units can be ordered for each trailer, allowing beehives to be set up in several locations. The floor is made of waterproof, non-slip plywood, which we import directly from Finland. Each beekeeping trailer has European COC type-approval, meaning it can be registered in any country within the European Union. The hive transport trailers are also covered by a 36-month manufacturer’s warranty.
We offer standard models of beekeeping trailers, and we are also able to manufacture custom-made trailers tailored to the customer’s specific requirements.
